I had lunch there today with my colleagues and Sweet and Savory hit our taste buds out of the park!! The Front lady led us strait. She recommended, the newly added, 1/2 pound cheese burger with homemade chips and Salad, my friend had the House made Turkey pot pie with saladvand their house made balsamic dressing... Yum!! AND... they sell it for us to take home! My other friend had their Awesome Dora's crunchy Chinese Chicken Salad ,... it was Huge!! And Delicious!! They hand shred the chicken breast and the dressing is Doras secret house made recipe! And!!! If you have room... or take them home, their Desserts are Amazing!!! I promise u.... if you are in San Marino... Stop by! You too can have great food prepared in house. The cashier also told us of the daily specials AND Taco friday!! Eat well friends:-)

I used to be a regular at this small shop, until I had a very bad experience on my last visit. Two things happened, and I decided to never go back again.

First, I went to use the bathroom in the back, and the kitchen was filthy! There was a big chicken breast defrosting on the same counter as cooked food, which is a big health violation. But what was worst were the FLIES that were buzzing around and landing on the cooked food lying uncovered. The owner, an older Asian woman, nonchalantly waved her hands to shoo them away but otherwise looked unconcerned. GROSS! Luckily, I didn't order yet because I would have asked for a refund.

Secondly, I heard the owner yelling and berating her workers. It sounded like something was not re-filled properly. The venom she was spitting out over such a little petty thing, I just could not believe that anyone could work for her for very long. Honestly, I didn't hear it all from the beginning, all I heard was the owner accusing the worker of being "defiant" and doing it on purpose. As if someone would not fill the cheese just to be defiant. It boggled my mind!!

I cannot support a business that mistreats their workers that way.
