This place is a JOKE. This location is owned by some douche named Jeff that is rude, incompetent and surprisingly, doesn't know diddly squat about batteries. Funny how he tells people he as the best prices, when in fact Costco has better prices and sells quality batteries.

And if you buy a car battery here, it will fail withing a year and the warranty is useless.

Beware, shop anywhere else because Batteries Plus in SLO sucks and the owner is a prick.

Went to get two cell phones looked at or repaired. My self and my wife were treated very badly by one of the employees. I could not understand how someone could be so rude and inconsiderate of people who come to do business with them. I will never step foot into that store again. I just hope no one else has to experience what my self and wife went thru to get such a small thing taken care of... Warning.....! It was really bad. Shook me and the wife up all day long.... it was that bad there.... Today I spoke with someone who said they were the owner, and was told he was sorry for the actions of the other. We were refer by sprint to get our phones repaired there, but I have to say it was the worst thing I could have done. Not saying they can't do the job, just saying we never got that far before being treated so badly......!

Great service. The young man was very nice and helpful. The website was incorrect so he got me the correct battery and at a lower price. Nice to deal with a pleasant retailer that has good information

I highly recommend against wasting your time with Batteries Plus in San Luis Obispo. I recently tried to buy a car battery from them and not only was it a complete waste of my time, the owner of the store was also extremely rude. He tried to make excuses for the fact that his sales associates had mistakenly said my battery would take 2 days to arrive, not the over two weeks that it actually took. He said he's gone through a lot of employees, and with how insulting he was to me as a customer, I can only imagine how poorly he treats his employees. I would not recommend Batteries Plus unless you like being treated like crap.
