Provided by YP.comThis place was a delight from start to finish. Reservation was easy to make as was honored right on time. The room is simply done - comfortably contemporary update on a traditional space with a massive open kitchen that is seen but not really heard. Menu was somewhat limited but contained entrees and sides made from the freshest of local ingredients. A prix fixe dinner was offered that paired each course with wines. It was very fairly priced. We went with salmon and a cheeseburger (!) instead. Cooked perfectly, absolutely fresh. Sides were gnocchi and zucchini soup. The gnocchi were absolutely one of the best things I've ever tasted. Once again, perfectly seasoned and cooked and clearly prepared with absolutely fresh ingredients. Delicious. We did our best to savor the very special meal. The owner was on location and was clearly sweating the details. If you are interested in a very delicious take on local fresh ingredients served simply but perfectly, this is a good place for you. Priced very fairly - at the level of many lesser dining experiences in the city. It was terrific.
