Opened in 1979, Hayes Street Grill is a neo-traditional fish house in San Francisco's Civic Center district. The restaurant s walls are covered with autographed photos of the artists who considered the restaurant their club and also features original brass coat hooks. Its menu includes a variety of salads, soups, desserts and main course items. The restaurant additionally offers a selection of wines, such as zinfandel, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir and merlot. Hayes Street Grill, in addition, has a large dining area that can seat up to 60 people and a bar room that can accommodate up to 35 guests. The restaurant sets up a food booth at the Ferry Plaza Farmers' Market every Saturday and offers scrambled farm eggs, mushroom omelets and crab sandwiches.

There are so many things that I like about this place. There are foods and you could actually have dinner in here as well as have a drink at night.

This place is pretty hopping, I like the music and the thing that they do whenever a customer orders something, they are amazingly professional in here as well.

This is a great bar. I have to say that it took me a while to get used to with the noise and all the ruckus in here. Suddenly it hit me that I am a part of this place, a place where I can relax.
