Ashbury Images in San Francisco provides quality screen printed and embroidered apparel and custom-designed promotional products. 100% of proceeds fundĀ  employing and supporting at-risk youth. Ashbury Images began as a vocational job training program in the basement of our homeless drop-in center in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco. Ashbury Images rebuilds lives one shirt at a time by providing paid employment, job training, and supportive services to at-risk youth recovering from poverty, substance abuse and homelessness. We started tshirt printing for local businesses and nonprofit agencies and quickly became one of the fastest growing screen printing and embroidery shops in San Francisco. Our screen printing business quickly outgrew the basement of the Oak Street House, and in 1991, we moved to a rented storefront on Ashbury Street, taking the name Ashbury Images. In 1998, we moved into a 3,000-square foot facility and purchased our first automatic press, and in 2007, we moved Ashbury Images to a brand new 11,300-square foot facility at 1661 Tennessee in the Dogpatch neighborhood of Bayview. Our new "grande auto" 14-color press brings our total production capacity to over a million prints a year on a single shift.
