I ordered grave tablet, paying in full, from this memorial park in December 2012. I understand that such thing cannot be made next day. Couple of weeks would be reasonable time, but they wanted two months. I could not deny their terms because my wife was buried there. However after three months (!) the tablet still was not installed. When I visited their office checking status of my order the receptionist could not tell me anything at this matter so she wrote down my phone number promising to contact me the same day, but it’s never happened. After one more week I visited their office again and again the receptionist could not tell me anything particular. It looks like after they grabbed my money they don’t want to deal with me anymore. Forest Lawn in Covina, CA looked to me an honest business, but now I am thinking about taking legal actions against them. Should I demand money back leaving the grave of my wife unmarked?
Visiting cemetery several times I noticed some signs that after 40 years, when graves are not visited by the relatives anymore, they resell graves casting bodies out of them. What big mistake I have made when I decided to bury my wife at this cemetery!!!
