Ayurveda is an ancient healing art of India. It is a unique form of asian medicine because of it's  emphasis on nutrition, cleansing, rejuvenation, and routine adjustments. The initial consultation starts with an assessment of the individuals unique body constitution. This constitution is known as Prakruti in Sanskrit.   Prakruti is the foundation for customizing an individual's dietary, herbal, and lifestyle advice. This is because everyone has a unique body.  For example, two people with the same health concern may receive different herbs because they have different body types. What helps one individual may hurt another, even if they have the same condition.

Kevin is a graduate of Kerala Ayurveda Academy*, and has apprenticed with many Ayurveda practitioners from India who are highly accomplished in their field.  In addition to his training in Ayurveda, Kevin has also studied massage, nutrition, and other healing arts at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Kevin will work to understand your concerns and find practical measures that ease you into a healthier state. Nutrition, exercise, pranayama (breathing exercises), cleansing, herbs, and many other methods will be discussed. Most importantly, a plan will be designed to insure that these changes are executed. After all, healing does not happen in the blink of an eye. It is a process that requires planning, motivation, and mindfulness.

*Currently, there is no licensing for Ayurveda in California and therefore Kevin is not a licensed healing arts practitioner.
