Stepping through the doors of this modern chic salon you see two full walls of painted petal designs: orange, brown, white, and lime green. Large front windows cast light over the comfortably worn brown leather furniture and decorative pillows. A long hallway leads you back to several intimate waxing rooms. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into the design and Kerri says that her friend and architect helped her create the modern and welcoming feel of her salon.



The design and prices is are not the only unique thing about this place. Its focus is not just on the female waxing, but men are welcomed as well. There are two separate waxing service menus that that cater to each sexes unique waxing needs.

Point Loma resident and business owner of Dick & Jane Waxing Salon, Kerri Boyles, loves her business location and neighborhood. Her neighbors must love her too. Kerri offers a 25% discount to military and students; two demographics that make up much of the Point Loma area. Kerri was not always interested in owning her own salon. Before the salon, Kerri worked in the mortgage industry for over 15 years. However, about 7 years ago Kerri decided to switch career paths and enrolled in the J Boutique College of Beauty. After graduation she worked at a salon in La Jolla and North Park, and in 2010 she finally branched out and started her own waxing salon.
