Founded in 1982,CHROME is one of the leaders in E-6 processing in San Diego. In 1988, the company opened CHROME Film & Digital Services to provide a full-range of support services for digital imagery. The company uses Refrema Film Processors and offers continuous film runs with push/pulls accurate to 1/8th stop increments. CHROME processes all transparency formats and both labs offer special runs for professional photographers. It offers transparency services called Ektaclones, along with numbering, imprinting, collating, sleeving, traying and glass mounting. Additional services include C-41 film processing, reprints and enlargements from 35 millimeter slides and negatives, 120/220 transparencies and negatives, digital files, prints from four-by-five transparencies and existing print, large format ink jet prints, mounting and lamination and photo business cards. CHROME offers scanning solutions that include custom, production and economy scans. CHROME offers a digital output for presentations that include slides, prints, handouts, posters and trade show displays along with other creative services.
