So about my visit at MD Today Urgent Care... Well I sprained my ankle playing a pick-up basketball game a few weeks back. It hurt like a... yeah, and swelled up like a peach! I live right off I-15, so I decided to try out MD Today Urgent Care. I was blown away by my visit - Not just by the clean facility, but by the personal level of care provided by the staff and physician. I got right in with no wait after I filled out my paperwork. The Medical Staff was very friendly, genuinely interested in how I got injured. Oh, and they accepted my PPO insurance (always a plus), just had to pay my $25 co-pay. Anyways, Once they got a look at my ankle, they wanted to make sure nothing was seriously wrong, so they went ahead and took an X-ray of my foot (& Gave me a digital copy - kinda cool), but luckily it turned out it wasn't broken. They told me to R-I-C-E (Rest Ice Compression Elevate) and the doc gave me a prescription for swelling. Picked up the script at the Vons across the way and that was that! Such a convenient and charming a place! I couldn't imagine having spent my night with a sprained ankle in an ER. I'd highly recommend MD Today Urgent Care for any non-life threatening emergency to my friends and family.
