Provided by YPmobileWe decided for a break from Tex-Mex during our stay and ate here on the recommendation from our hotel. Both our meals were delicious. My wife had a special request and they handled it flawlessly. As great as the meal was, our server, Shannon, was even better. She easily developed a rapport with us. She was attentive but never hovering, and provided knowledgable recommendations. I may have been mistaken, but I thought the manager may have been wearing a Dickie. Haven't seen one in 40 years. Overall, a delightful evening.

Provided by YPmobileVery disappointing. Pay a Little extra and go to Texas de Brazil. Texas Roadhouse has a better ribeye for half the price.

Provided by YPmobileNice atmosphere, overlooking the River Walk. Good food, on the higher side for pricing. A little loud with the jazz upstairs.

Provided by SuperpagesMy post may be long, but it's worth a read.I almost didn't go here because when I read the reviews, people had a lot of complaints. When I read more, I noticed that they were mostly about long waits and bad attitudes. First off, why would you expect to just walk into a fancy restaurant on a busy saturday night on the San Antonio riverwalk and expect to be seated right away? That's insane. It's very easy to book a reservation. Find the restaurant on urban spoon and click the link that says BOOK A TABLE. It uses the Open Table site and your Facebook login to book it. it takes all of 2 minutes if you're not a complete idiot about it.I booked a table for my boyfriend and I for our anniversary. I booked it the same day. I highly recommend doing this. We walked in at the exact time of our reservation, kindly gave our name and were taken right to our seats, with SMILING FACES might I add.We were a little off put by the very loud LIVE JAZZ MUSIC playing upstairs when we walked in. It was quieter the farther away from the stairs we got. When the hostess told us she was seating us UPSTAIRS, I was worried because if it was lound downstairs, then it was going to be louder upstairs. Boy, was I wrong. She took us to a BACK ROOM where the tables were and as soon as she closed those glass doors, it got QUIET. The music could still be heard, but so could the person sitting across the table from you. The waiter took our orders and was very good at getting everything out to the table at the perfect time and wasn't bothered by our many questions over the menu. Boyfriend has a gluten allergy and was happy to find out that they have a GLUTEN FREE MENU that had several options on it. And not just the dishes that are already gluten free, but dishes from the main menu with a couple of changes to make them gluten free. Which we have never seen before at any other restaurant. The salads had various kinds of lettuce and was just like every other house salad. The GARLIC BREAD though... oh my goodness...I'm glad I'm not the one with the gluten allergy. It came to the table fresh and warm from the oven and was mouthwateringly good.I had a MOSCOTO SANGRIA (lots of berries in it as well as an apple brandy i think) with the TILAPIA HEMINGWAY (toasted in a lemmon butter glaze and topped with a parmasan moscoto cooking wine with lump blue crab, a side of rice pilaf and 2 sticks of asparagus) Boyfriend had the SIRLOIN STEAK and BAKED POTATO (everything on it) and a LONG ISLAND ICED TEA. They were all too die for. The PORTIONS were the PERFECT SIZE. Not huge but too small either. Just right. We did not stay for dessert because we were so full from cleaning our plates of every last morsel of flavor. I would definitely go back.

Provided by YP.com*** DO NOT DINE HERE**** FRAUD** me and my sister dined here and the following day found out the waitress who seemed to have taken forever to get our credit cards back to us had stolen out information and we became victims of credit card fraud!!!!... not only this but two waiters behind us were discussing the contest they were having about who sold the most specials of the day which was a lobster dish would get a day off!!!.. this place was a joke as far as a fine dining establishment.. they hire low class individuals who obviously have some sort of a criminal background.. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Provided by YP.comWe had several restaurants on our list to visit while in town, but Landrys was our favorite. The atmosphere was very nice, the menu provided a wide selection of cusine, and prices were reasonable for a tourist spot like the River Walk. Other restaurants that we visited on this trip were satisfactory, but none provide the overall enjoyable dining experience that we had at Landrys.
