Please listed below some of my skills and experience: 3 Year training at the Royal National College, England. Achieved an honours qualification in piano tuning and repairs (AWEVH) Achieved a City and Guilds of the London Institute qualification in Stringed Instrument Manufacture and Design. 25 Years experience. Selected to demonstrate skills to Her Majesty the Queen of England. Holder of the 1988 Kemble piano tuning award. Experience working in the Yamaha, England factory. All tunings are completed with the aid of a tuning fork and the trained ear rather than a machine. Voicing, piano repairs, valuations, harpsicord tunings and free telephone advice are available. Vetted by the Criminal Records Bureau to work in schools. Please only use a qualified technician to ensure your instrument is serviced to the highest of standards. The New York Times reported several years ago that a piano is second in complexity to the racing car and therefore requires a professional to ensure the mechanism (action) and tuning are kept at a top performance.
