The Broach School Of St Petersburg is a special education school for children with autism and specific learning disabilities (SLD). The school follows the 1-room schoolhouse method, and has low student-teacher ratios in all its classes that help maintaining personal attention. The Broach School is accredited by AdvancED. Student with learning disabilities are eligible for McKay Scholarships, and students under the reduced or free lunch program can obtain the Step Up For Students (SUFS) scholarships. Daily assignments are mostly completed at the school even though students are encouraged to finish their projects at home and read daily. The school caters to Lealman neighborhood.
