I purchased a wax pass, so I've been here several times. The first 2-3 times I thought I'd found a great waxer, even though she was a big-time product pusher. I can handle that, but on the 3rd visit, she used wax that was so hot, I had blisters the next day. The next day I came into the store and asked the front desk what they would recommend I use on my blisters, and the receptionist just stared at me stupidly, as if I'd asked her in another language. Right then, a waxer that I didn't know wandered up front and so I asked her what she recommended, and of course she recommended one of their products to use on my burn. She didn't apologize that I had gotten burned there. There is just a complete and utter lack of professionalism here IMO, and I think it has a lot to do with the waxers being very young and probably just out of beauty school. In subsequent visits, I've used different waxers, and one of them used a racial slur in front of me (!), and the two other ones didn't bother to hold the skin taut (I think another reviewer mentioned this as well). Who doesn't know that the skin needs to be held taut when waxing?! My last couple of appointments have been in the evening, and the waxers are probably in a hurry to get out of there, but that's no excuse to just rush through a bikin wax. I'm so disappointed--this location is so close to my house!
