Rip-Off! We received a letter to renew a business filing, and they were saying to send them a check for 70.00. Do they think we are stupid? You can file an annual renewal online FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed - total ripoff. So sneaky, it should be illegal!

It's so nice of Paragon to provide a "service" to renew Legal Documents with the State, on your behalf. For the unknowing this could be a good thing- maybe? But what if they just took your money and ran? Who's to stop them! They are not the State. Do yourself a favor and click on this link , http://mblsportal.sos.state.mn.us/ or copy and paste it into your browser, and do it yourself for free directly with the State, for Paragon is Not the State

I just received their "OFFICIAL LOOKING DOCUMENTS" and they do look official but I thought is was weird that when I created my LLC no one told me that I had to renew it annually. So, I've researched it and the annual renewal is free on Minnesota's State Government website. These people actually asked me to send the a check made out to them for $70 to renewal my LLC and had nerve to make a statement that they would be charging a fee of $35 for all NSF checks plus the original amount due. They are ripping people off so pass the word to everyone you know. I'm turning them in to the State Government and the BBB.

TOTAL RIP-OFF. They sent me an official-looking letter telling me to write them a check for $20 so they could assist me in renewing my LLC status by filing on my behalf. Said if I didn't take these steps the state would dissolve me LLC and fine me. Didn t make sense to me that I would write a check directly to them for a state filing, so dug on the web and found another reviewer that said this place is a rip-off, if you go to a state-run website you can file for free - takes all of two minutes! I have been scammed by this company. They find people who have just created a new LLC on the MN Secretary of State web site to get their address information. They then send a form that looks exactly like the one from the SOS except they insert their name and request $20.00 for your annual renewal. They do file the renewal with the SOS, but this is absolutely FREE if you go directly to the Secretary of State web site. In fact, you can file online and save yourself from paper work and a stamp. This is VERY misleading. They even have an official looking seal on their paperwork to make it look legit. Here is the web site to file for free. http://mblsportal.sos.state.mn.us/
