I just tried to return a refurbished buffer attachment for my Kirby today. Unfortunately,it did not work well and left its bristles all over our floor. I paid $80 for it and was disappointed. Today, the new owner who was only too glad to sell me over $100 worth of items last month was very rude. I told him my dilemma and he pointed to the sign which said no refunds after leaving the store. I asked if I could just get some bags or an exchange of something. He said, I'm not giving you $80 worth of bags. I told him he sold me a piece of crap, I asked him again and he pointed again and said no refunds. He told me that people have come in and bought vacuums and tried to return them the same day and he would not refund their money. When checking with Kirby's headquarters customer service , the gal said he was not an authorized Kirby dealership ,so they couldn't do anything about my complaint. She said I could get a list of authorized Kirby dealerships from them.
