I am sending off this review due to certain issues I have a parent with this department. It is about my son. This all started by in May of 2112. My adult son and his girlfriend. Had a house warming party. A very old friend from over then year ago showed up uninvited at their home. This man was drunk and forced his way into the home. My son and his wife also have a baby. The baby was 5 months old at the time. This man would not leave their home when asked. Then man demanded to go to the babys room. My sons wife blocked him for going into the room. He hit her and kicked her. She had huge welts and bruises on her legs. At this point she called 911. My son had to defend his wife and child. Yes, he had to get physical with the man to get him out of the home. As the police arrived. My son and his wife were made to leave the home and stand outside on the sidewalk. While the man attacking them. Police kept him in the house and were talking to him. My son and his wife were horrified and worried about their babys saftey!! When they demanded to go back into the home. They were told they would be arrested??!! Yes, they took this man to the hospital. He had to have a few stiches in his forehead. My son and his wife tired to make a police report. They were not allowed to do so!!! The man that attacked them in their own home was allowed to tho. My son and his wife. Had the 911 tape pulled. Showed the pictures of her legs and what this man did to her while she was trying to protect their baby. My son also had to go to the doctors as his ankle was sprained and he had some minor cuts and scrapes. This man after doing much research with his x girfriends. Come to find out he did the same exact thing to the two women. In one of these attacks. The one girls brother protected her and put the man in the hospital for what he did. Nothing happened to the man protecting his sister. However, almost 4 months later my son was dragged into court. All this time they have been trying to contact Detective La tour. Who refused to talk to them. I even called to set up a meeting. He was rude with me. He called my son horrible names. I was shocked!!! My son ends up in court and is the one charged!!!! Im horrified!! My son gets one year of probation at 105 a month. Then for some reason he has to go to weekly urine drops at 20 a week. My son was not drinking that night nor was he drunk. If he was, Im sure the police officer would of arrested him right on the spot. Now, his probation officer is demanding through a court order that he attends anger management at 35 a week. Not to mention she wants him to have be evaluated which cost 200. Plus she wants him to sign a paper to allow her to have the rights to know what he talks about with this person. Inst that a invasion of client/Patient? My son lost his job a year ago. Unemployment has run out. The courts and his probation officer know this. He explained he has no money for these things. He is trying to keep a roof over his family as we are all struggling in these hard times. Judge and probation office actually told him to go pick up cans for the money owed to them and for the things the probation officer wants done. Dont most of us take our cans back. I cant believe a court system would tell this to people! What cushion world do they live in?! My son does not drink much at all. A few drinks a year!! He drinks alot of water as he has kidney problems. On one day when he had to drop. He drank three bottles of water so he would have to urinate when he got there. He then gets a call from his probation officer. That his urine was watered down. If its watered down they cant get a good result from the urine test. However, that makes you GUILTY!! So, what do they do next? They make him do 27 hours of community service
