I was looking forward to renting from Kline Music because of all the good reviews. I went to fill out the application to rent and where it asked for California License I put in my Florida license. I received an email back from Penny Kline stating that they only rent to people with a California License. I wrote back to her explaining that I am military and due to that I kept my residency with Florida even though I live in California now. I did not think this would be an issue once I responded but I was very surprised with the response I received back.

Yes. You must have a valid CA Driver's license to rent from Kline Music.

Perhaps you can try some of the interstate online rental companies.

I was honestly surprised and thought they would have been the least bit flexible on their policies to accommodate someone in the military.



I will never be giving my business to Kline Music in the future. I was able to rent from Watermelon Music in Davis. They were much more helpful and cheaper than Kline by the way.

you can rent, AND buy Good quality instraments. you can repair , and get lessons on instraments too!!!!!

This store has a large selection of musical instruments, accessories and sheet music. Their staff is friendly and very helpful.
