California Middle School offers various activities and educational programs for overall growth of the students, and is located in Sacramento, Calif. It offers a wide variety of courses, including college preparatory mathematics, language arts, physical and health education, science, and foreign languages. Its sports activities include basketball, soccer, track and field, golf, softball and spirit squad. The school provides various clubs, such as key, Pan-African, drama, mathletes and poetry clubs. Its library encourages students to become independent readers, learners and researchers. The library contains more than 15,000 volumes, including reference materials, nonfiction and computer stations. It has a parent-teacher association that increases awareness in curriculum and policy development by providing proper communication between home and school.
