Unethical. Never agreed on a price till the work was due to start. They wanted to install the water softener in violation of local code. Started work without a permit, and had to stop till it was corrected. Finally, only after work was 90% done, was given something to sign. Upon given bill I noticed it was a thousand dollars more than the quote. I was told if it was not paid the system will be taken back. That thousand dollars is cheaper than fighting them in court, so I paid the extortion fee. The remaining 10% of the work I had to do.
