My experience was very similar to the other awful experiences listed. Let's just say my interaction with the owner of Thelma's was the most unprofessional retail experience I've ever had. A business can't just refuse to deal with people once they have a customers' money. Shame on you.

I don't even give Thelma's a one rating. We should be able to give negative ratings. My daughter ordered her bridesmaid dresses from Thelma's. The lady even verified the dress in front of us when writing up the order. The dresses arrived. They are the WRONG dresses. Thelma's informed my daughter that they don't have time to order the right ones and are going to alter the WRONG dresses into what was ordered. Can't wait to see what kind of disaster we'll end up with. My daughter is doing extra running for their mistake. Thanks for all the undue stress you're causing. If you need formal wear, I highly suggest you go elsewhere. Read all these negative reviews and save yourself the stress and headache.

My daughters wedding dress was purchased at Thelma's when it was located in Merrill. Everything was perfect and the same dress in the Twin Cities was 2 times as much

I have personally had several bad experiences with Thelmas within the past two years. Dresses ordered two sizes larger than requested, paying for alterations that were never done and when I raised the issue with the store, they would not take a minute to just listen, but instead threaten to call the cops. I can't express how unhappy I am with this store.
