Rosemount Saw and Tool has been meeting the small engine and sharpening needs of the community for over 40 years. Housed until 2007 in an original turn-of-the-century building, the business occupied the place of the one-time horse saddle repair shop that serviced Rosemount starting in the early 1900's. Due to redevelopement the business was moved one block south in 2007. While considered a piece of Rosemount's historic past, the business continues that tradition by focusing on small engine sales and repair, and a wide range of sharpening. Gary Betters, the current owner, purchased the business in 1976 and has been dedicated to personal service ever since. The success of the business is measured through the goals of being a part of the community, offering quality employment, and offering the utmost dedication to meeting the needs of each individual customer. It is this "small town" service that defines Rosemount Saw and Tool. Rosemount Saw and Tool sells new and used lawn and garden equipment, including lawnmowers, snowblowers, chainsaws, and power trimmers. We can also meet all of your repair needs. Also, from carbide blades to shears, Rosemount Saw and Tool is your South Metro headquarters for the highest quality sharpening. While the shape of the business has changed with the evolving needs of customers, the dedication to the community remains the same. Rosemount Saw and Tool is located on Robert Trail ( Highway 3 ) in downtown Rosemount.

very bad experiences

I went to Rosemount Saw and tool for a new starter unit for an Ariens snow blower and they quoted me close to 200.00 for the part only. Now I had the blower picked up for 20.00 each direction for a few blocks and they estimated to fivx the drive wheel that is cutting into the drive wheel. They estimated it at close tpo 350.00! Half the price of a new blower. Buddy fixed it for around 200.00 and it is close to 50.00 for the electric start... this cmpany is very high for parts and labor.

lawn tractor service

I received an advertisement for Rosemount Saw and Tool (RST) in the mail and was persuaded by the free pick up and delivery service. So I called and asked if they could exchange the regular cutting blades with a mulch kit for my 1994 Montgomery Ward ProCraft lawn tractor. They said "sure" and picked up the tractor and kit on a cold February morning. They called me with an estimate before starting any work. The estimate came in very reasonable, so I told the technician to go ahead. He completed the exchange in two days, and RST returned the lawn tractor the next day. Although I couldn't run the unit due to the cold temperatures, I am confident the job was done right. I was very impressed with their friendly and professional service and I highly recommend RST.
