I have a very old Sears tractor (Onan engine) Long story short - I ran over something and two of the 3 blades stopped working. I would highly recommend Admiral. Steve (owner) was very polite and explained things to me - he was swamped with repairs but took the time to talk. They picked up and dropped off my tractor. What he charged for everything was well within reason. If I could add more stars, I would. Yes they needed to have it for a week, but if you want a job done right that is what it takes.

I dropped my John Deere walk behind mower off to have the traction fixed and general maintenance. I was told it could take 1 - 3 weeks. OK, I'll have to borrow my neighbors’ mower. This was May 31st. I was called on June 5th and they said I needed to order a cable that they did not stock from John Deere. Why me? I was told it was hard for them to get those parts, but the maintenance was done, so as soon as they get the cable they will complete the work. I ordered the cable ($22.94 with shipping), it arrived on June 18th. I dropped off the cable and invoice to the store on June 20th (21 days into this so far). Now it is July 10th. I called to get the status and they say they are just finishing up and I can pick it up today. Finally. I pick it up and they say, "No charge". What? They apologize; they had me order the wrong cable so they're not charging me for the maintance. Well, can I have the cable back? "We don't know where it is". "We'll call you when we find it". Are you kidding me? So I get home and look at it, same filter, same plug and I assume same oil. They didn't charge me because they had my mower for 41 days (2 days short of 6 weeks) and did NOTHING to it AND lost my $22.94 cable. I WAS planning on dropping off my snow blower after this for maintenance. Never again will I do business with them. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Ridiculous business practice. Stay away! ZERO STARS, but I had to pick one.

I had an excellent experience ordering my mower from them. They allowed me to come pick up the mower when they are normally closed and put the mower together for me. They went above and beyond typical service. Very friendly, skilled, and professional.



Now for the mower. This is my first ever electric mower. And boy am I happy with it. I use to use a bag to collect the grass clippings however with this mower I no longer need to, saving me lots of money, no more do I need to fill bags with grass and put yard stickers on the bag. The mower is light weight , without the battery installed. The battery will add an additional 30lbs. Mower is easy to clean and operate, in addition can be adjusted for easy grass height settings. Even though I was use to a mower that is self-propelled I had no problem pushing this mower around the yard. The mower is quiet compared to my old gas mower and no more gas, oil, spark plugs,filters to deal with. I have used this mower on taller grass say 5 to 6 inches and it has performed per my expectations. I do recomend like with all lawn mowers you watch to insure you dont hit the blade on something and ruin the blade. I have done this and once the blade is ruined it will be out of balance and the mower will not cut effectively. This is not a problem with the mower at all just me being clumsy. Oh and another thing this mower cut my entire yard with plenty of battery power to spare. I do take the battery out and bring it into the house for a full charge so it is ready for the next cutting. Over all I am very pleased and enjoy not having to deal with all the things one has to do with a gas mower.
