I purchased a Ring Neck Dove 16 years ago, from Peterson’s. They were such kind, and caring family, advised us how to care for her, gave us so much helpful information. We loved our bird so much, she lived a beautiful life with us, just passing last evening. Although we now live in Vermont, I am going to drive down to purchase another beautiful dove from this wonderful place.

I will never purchase another animal from these jokers. We went in to just look around and we came across a cute little baby bunny. Upon picking up this bunny you could literally feel and count every bone in this poor creatures body. The helpless bunny showed no real signs of normal bunny behavior and was SEVERELY malnourished. So we bought the bunny to be able to nurse it back to health and make a better life for her, this was at 2pm. 12 hours later (2am) the bunny would barely eat after having to be force fed thru a syringe and drinking almost 0 water we heard a god awful grumbling noise come from the bunnies abdominal area followed immediately by the passing of a very foul smelling clear jelly like substance (almost like a petroleum jelly). By 3am we were in our veterinary office and there was no other option other than having the rabbit euthinised. After only 12 hours of ownership we no longer had a baby bunny for our 3 year old son. Upon returning to the store and showing proof of the veterinary outcome of the bunny we still had to argue to get refunded for the cost of the rabbit. Myself or any member of my family will NEVER AGAIN step a single toenail into this store for any reason ever again. This is nothing more than gross negligence on their part

I love this pet shop. I purchased a chinchilla, I named Chico, a couple years ago from them and they gave me a great deal on a cage and everything I needed to get started, including the little castle hut that had been in his cage while he was still at the shop. I couldn't be happier with my little Chico and how well the employees treated me and my family =)

this is a great pet store. We bought a blue lobster from them over a year ago and it is doing great. Very knowledgable and friendly.

Awesome service, very friendly, and will order anything i need and have it in within a weeks time. They also are the only place in Rome that has certified bait. I can count on them for all my supplies.
