We hired him to represent our daughter in a custody and divorce case.He did nothing but take our money.She got nothing out of the divorce.She got primary custody of the child because we hired another attorney to represent her.

Wow only one review and shes someone on your payroll.,too funny. Mr. Kornegay is representing my husband in our divorce. So simple a 1st year law student could have done and done a better job. My husband and I had been married 30 yrs. have 2 grown boys a simple divorce pertaining to long term marriages in North Carolina split 50/50. Well Kornegay manage to drag this whole miserable thing out for,so far 15 months swelling his wallet, while taking advantage of my husband, who is a good man, he'd write up papers that were totally unnecessary, sending out affidavits, not showing up for court then filing the divorce in his county of Nash when my husband and I both reside in Hyde county anything to make this profitable for himself and no consideration for his client. He slips in little insults about me and my attorney in most every correspondence very unprofessional and just an all around jackass,

I've worked with at least 4 different attorney/assistant teams in the course of my case's process. This attorney/assistant team is the most attentive and responsive team I've worked with yet. They are prompt with their responses, and frequently willing to address my concerns. Mr. Kornegay is willing to take the time to prepare my case and give it the attention it needs. Other teams I've worked with prefer to put things off until the last minute, often invalidating my concerns about last minute preparation. Mr. Kornegay takes my case seriously, often encouraging me to take the time to prepare in advance. He is informative and knowledgable. I don't feel like I have to harrass him to get a response from him. His responses are thorough and address all my concerns, which takes much of the stress out of the process.
