A few weeks ago I attended the Raccoon Lake SRA with friends for some boating and unfortunately my boat quit working while out on the lake. We made it to the marina where I met the manager Shannon and explained my situation. Shannon immediately called one of her boat mechanics' and he was on my boat within 15 minutes to investigate what was wrong with the boat. Upon his investigation, he found my starter was bad. Because I was unable to get my boat back to the loading dock, Shannon allowed me to store my boat in one of there slips and provided me with an area to keep my trailer secured at the Tiki Hut. The Tiki Hut fixed my boat within days and I was able to pick it up the next weekend. I really appreciate the service and professionalism that the entire team at the Tiki Hut provided me! I would recommend anyone to rely on the Tiki Hut team for any of your boating needs when they are out at Raccoon Lake. They are a class act!

I spent the 4th of July Holiday weekend with some friends at Raccoon Lake SRA. We had a couple boats as well as a coupe PWC's. We used the Raccoon Lake Boat Rental dock and fuel services several times as well as the Tiki Hut market. The team and associates we dealt with were always extremely helpful, kind, and courteous. Whatever our needs were they did their best to accommodate us and our large group. It is a great park and with much to experience and do, with the added service of this group I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a destination.

This family owned and operated business is top notch. They care about their customers and go out of their way to ensure they create a great on the water experience for all. Boats are relaible, clean and well equipped. I will return in the future when travelling to Raccoon SRA. Thanks Shannon and Brad!!!!!

As we were on our way with the van loaded and 4 kids in tow we received a phone call from the Raccoon Lake Boat Rental marina telling us "our" boat broke down and they would not have another rental available to us as they were completely booked up for the holiday weekend. I totally understand that things like this can happen and it is out of their control. So after a few conversations with a couple employees and the manager Shannon trying to see if there were any other options for us as far as rentals for the day we decided to make other plans as we didn't want to waste anymore of our vacation time waiting at the marina. We had already tried to keep the kids busy with swimming and fishing for several hours there at the lake waiting to see if our boat would be fixed so we could take it out for the remainder of the day. Ok, so Friday's boating plans had to be scrapped but we figured even though it really bummed the kids out we would just try to make the best of a bad situation and find something else to do. Like I stated before, I completely understand about this being something out of anyone's control but one of the reasons I am writing this is because, after speaking to several employees and Shannon the manager, we never once were offered any kind of compensation for our time and trouble so I finally asked if there was anything they could do for us as we also had a Pontoon boat reserved for the next night from 6pm-8am the next morning. We were told that they are held to tight restrictions on what exactly they can do to compensate customers because they are run by the Indiana DNR. Ok, whatever we just figured we would see if anything would be done for us when we arrived on Saturday to pick up our Pontoon rental. Saturday night comes along and we get to the Raccoon Lake Boat Rental. Our Pontoon is ready to be picked up and I am very happy to hear that they took $50 off of our rental to make up for Friday. All is good and we are ready for a great evening of tubing and watching the fireworks on the lake when the sun sets. When we boarded the boat I asked the girl if the radio worked in this boat as we were told ahead of time that they don't guarantee that the radios work in all of the boats. She tried the radio and said yes it works, so I left the portable radio in our car. We are finally on a boat!!! Well just as soon as we left the Raccoon Lake Boat Rental my son went to sit in one of the captains chairs in the front of the boat and the chair completely fell over. I think it was kind of just propped up in the hole. Ok, not too big of a deal. We just wont use that seat. A few minutes later my husband flipped on the radio and guess what? It did'nt work. Hmmm ok I'm a bit agitated again but I'm not going to let it get to me. We spend the next few hours tubing and having a great time. The Pontoon is no speed boat, but hey we made the best of it. When we notice it is starting to get dark and soon time for the fireworks we went and anchored in the middle of the lake with the other boats to watch the show. Great fireworks and a beautiful view! Now the fireworks are over and time for what I have been waiting for, fishing! We turn the lights on but guess what? Those don't work either. Really???? We tried every button and even looked under the deck area at the wires to make sure everything was plugged in, but no success and no lights on the boat. So there we were in the middle of Raccoon Lake with hundreds of boats and no lights. Raccoon Lake Boat Rental really screwed up 2 days of our 3 day family 4th of July vacation. WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS NOR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO RACCOON LAKE BOAT RENTAL
