Dean Steel Erectors primary focus is erecting structural steel, but the company also erects insulated metal panels, pre-engineered metal buildings, tilt-up panels, pre-cast, hollow core planks and bridges. The company also erects other metals, including stairs, railing, ladders and pipe racks. Dean Steel owns nine cranes that range from 28 tons to 140 tons. The company also operates more than 45 welding machines and numerous man-lifts, forklifts and other equipment. Its crane rental service supports major contractors within a 100-mile radius of its office. Dean Steel is based in Harrisonburg, Va., but does work in Arkansas, California, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. Dean Steel was founded in 1969.
