The company is an innovative marketer and maker of sauerkraut, including the latest innovation in the industry: Frank's Kraut Singles, a single serving of sauerkraut. The Fremont Kraut Company was founded in 1905, with the combining of several small, Great Lakes area sauerkraut companies. Today, the company is a manufacturer of tomato-based sauces, with a state-of-the-art facility handling private label and co-pack business. The facility has a multi-million dollar high-speed bottling line, class 1000 clean room for sanitizing filling and is certified organinc by Global Organic Alliance and USDA. The Fremont Company is located in Rockford, Ohio.
