I purchased a custom solid oak door from my local Crafty Beaver who made the mistake of ordering it from River City Millwork. I give them NO STARS based on their lack of performance and lack of any customer care for fixing their gross errors and negligence!



The door was delayed more than a month after they promised to have it ready, the door was damaged upon arrival, they cut my door for a mortise lock even though they had the order and the template for a tubular lock and they shipped my solid oak door with a "matching" self made of Masonite, WTF! No apologies, no discount, no service. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY EMPLOYING INCOMPETENT PEOPLE WHO ARE UNSYMPATHETIC AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU BECAUSE THEY KNOW YOU ONLY RECOURSE IS TO WAIT EVEN LONGER.

Jason P from River City Millwork was the salesguy for my door purchases. I showed him damage to the glass panes in the original door and also the damage to the glass panes his company brought out to replace the original glass panes. Yes, RM replaced scratched glass panes with more scratched panes. Jason is a super nice guy to your face but which sales guy is not? Ultimately it was a bunch of bs b/c althought he told me in person he would make this right, he NEVER did. I also made this issue aware to management at RM. I though that was why Jason sent out the replacement (however scrathed) panes. My first bit of advice is to not use this company. My second bit of advice is to not let their doors be installed until you have inspected them to be damage free. B/c they won't fix it.
