I would not recommend this place, my stylist didn't listen to a word I said! I told her I wanted my hair on top where my current color was re-bleached and a plum colored purple put in. She was not listening and just started to put color on my head. I asked her what she was doing and she told me " I'm putting in the color you requested". I then told her I wanted it bleached first and she said" oh I'm sorry I already put the color in". The only thing she did right was waxing my eye brows and she didn't charge me because she messed up my hair. I'm still growing out this color and now it's turned to an ugly copper. I would never go back there, ever!!

This salon is great! I had an appointment with Rozalyn to get my hair done, and she was just fabulous. She asked alot of questions to ensure I got exactly what I wanted, and she is very knowledgable. She suggested I see Alicia the esthetician for my waxing needs, and Alicia was equally as great. I highly recommend this salon!

I have struggled with my fine hair for years! I had an appointment with Shirley who is a fantastic stylist! She razored my hair and it has never been so nice. It lays exactly how it should and I love it! Rae's Salon is a beautiful salon and all of the employees are awesome. Everyone is warm and personable and I recommend it highly.

i regret to say that i had a horrible haircut at Rae's Salon by the owner Shirley Beyer. I go to the salon regularly for other services and when i got my haircut by Shirley i was miserable, not only did she not stop talking and kept trying to sell me product i did not want...she was practiclly forcing me to buy it. She always uses a razor to cut her clients hair and she says its the best ever. I asked her to just trim up my hair and she removed all of the thickness and everything and shredded my hair to nothing with the stupid razor. After that my hair felt horrible and brittle it felt like nothing. After a while i decided to try there again but specified not to have Shirley cut my hair. The last 2 times i went there i Had 2 different stylists. The first was Maja and she did a wonderful job. She was the one that fixed my horrible razor cut and made me understand that for my thick curly hair you cannot use a razor. she was really gentle at explaining it. The second time was a girl named

Rae,s Salon is the nicest laid out Salon in Rochester.I wouldnt change salons again as they seemed to understand the texture of my hair with no problem and that just doesnt happen every day. Thanks again Rae's
