BUYER BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! The owner of this establishment is atrocious! We stopped in looking for a prom dress for my daughter. Their prices were much higher than we wanted to spend. After telling her that we didn't want to spend over $250-300, she brought my daughter a $620 dress to try on. She loved it of course, but we weren't willing to spend that much. They were "kind" enough to discount tbe dress to $520, which was still out of our price range. My daughter was torn and considered using her savings to pay for part of the dress because there was no way I was able to pay that amount. We decided to leave and think on it. The owner's daughter grabbed us as we were walking out and begged us to put $100 down to "hold" the dress while we thought it over so she wouldn't lose it. I was unsure at first, but thought it would give her the opportunity really think about if it was worth spending double our budget. Her daughter ASSURED me that the money was fully refundable if we decided to go with something else. The owner stood RIGHT next to her as she said this. I would NEVER have agreed to this otherwise, since I felt that this was too much to spend on a dress, but wanted to allow my daughter the chance to make that decision herself. Well, we did find a dress that she loved the next day that was half the price. I called Boutique Angelique right away to tell them that they could put the dress back on the rack and inquired about how I could recoup my deposit. The owner coldly said, "You aren't getting that money back. That money is GONE! " She was BEYOND rude to me and flat out LIED! The conversation lasted for more than 10 minutes where we went back and forth between me reminding her that I was assured that my "hold" money was refundable and her telling me that she and her daughter would never say such a thing. I was mortified. I couldn't believe the way she was speaking to me and I especially couldn't believe the fact that she could completely lie! I was in tears and finally asked if she would at least issue me a store credit, I thought maybe I could at least buy her jewelry or SOMETHING. The owner said, "NO! I told you, that money is GONE!" I finally hung up the phone but not before letting her know that she was doing a TERRIBLE thing and that karma is a real thing. Awful, awful woman.

What a total rip off! My daughter was looking at dresses, and the woman asked me what my price range was. I told her what it was, then she handed my daughter a dress that was $250 above my range. She had said that she could help me out some on the prices. My daughter came out and of course, was in love with this dress. She would not haggle on the price of the dress, and like an idiot, i paid the full price. She wouldn't even let me look at the label after I put the deposit down. She just continued to tell me that it was a special made gown just for their boutique. Well... We have the dress, It looks amazing on my daughter, but I did look at the tag... It's a Tony Bowls dress, and It's from 3 years ago. It runs for about $200 to $250 less then what I paid for it. Ugh. Never, never go here. Or at least, make sure to haggle, and know your prices before you walk in there. I feel like such a sucker! Don't be a sucker!

Great service the owner was very helpful and they have very beautiful and unique dresses. My daughter was able to find the perfect dress for prom and i'm sure no one is going to be wearing anything like it!

The owner was so nice to us.. I don't know what the other reviews were talking about. I went into the boutique to find a dress for my mom, and ended up getting two travel dresses for my honeymoon. I was in there for hours, and she was busy, but I never saw her be anything but kind.

My mom paid a lot of money for a dress and it needed to be altered.... Angelique volunteered the "best seamstress" 4 weeks later and the dress is a mess! Frumpy! Ugly! And my mom is stuck with an 800 dollar nightmare that won't be fixed and they won't refund anything... Not recommending a dog to go in to this store! Ridiculous prices and ridiculous customer service!

Owner very rude... Fought with my mom and didn't give an inch....



Well I won't be back and neither will she. That's several thousand she won't get from us.

There was a great selection of dresses, however like previous reviews the owner of the store seems a little off. She is very blunt and straight to the point with her customers even if it's offensive. Avoid giving this shop a penny... for the prices they charge service should be beyond excellent.

DON'T SHOP HERE. My wife, daughter, and I walked into the store and we didn't receive any assistance from the owner. She barely acknowledged us, before she disappeared to the backroom. then, she came out and said 2 words to us and went to the backroom. I was completely shocked by the poor service and we walked out of the store. I went to a different store, and they said that they hear complaints from customers all of the time about Boutique Angelique. I was told, if you don't look like you have money, she ignores you. Not to mention, as a business owner, she parks her car right in front of the store, instead of leaving room for her customers. I recommend never visiting here!

I took my daughter in this store to look for prom dresses!! She found a lot that she liked but Angelique came over and said u cant zip that up let me!! Then she says to me have u looked at the price tags?? I was so affended by that! She dont know what my bank account looks like!! She had a great selection but HORRIBLE customer service...Its not like my daughter was 7 yrs old tearin thru everything she is well managered!! I will NEVER go back! That was just start up rude!!!
