It is a terrible feeling when you see your Rottie put her paw through the dining room window. Blood was spurting everywhere. Thankfully I was able to get her to Arlington Animal Hospital 24 Hour Emergency clinic. The staff and doctors reacted in a calm professional manner, sewing Sassy up immediately. Cost was not bad, especially compared to any of the VCA hospitals. I now take all of my dogs to Arlington, and am pleased with the service. Last but certainly not least,
Dr Saldanha is a great orthopedic who kindly helped our rescue with three shelter dogs, each who had a broken leg.. instead of being euthanized, these dogs are now in their furever homes.
Thank you Doctors and staff for all that you do.

Please unless you have no choice don't bring your pet here. They will take advantage of you and not bat an eye.

I will say that we have not had a dog groomed in a long time and I want to be fair. We had an appointment time of 10 am on a Saturday. We got our dog there on time. They told us they were real busy and it will take a while. We went home and after 2 hours decided to call to see how much longer. We were then told it would take all day! I wish she would have told us that when we dropped her off and then we could have decided if we were ok with that. We finally got tired of waiting and went to pick our dog up at 1:45 pm 3 hours 45 minutes after we dropped her off. When we got their our dog was in the was just getting out of the bath. They had trimmed around her ears and paws but had not given her a hair cut yet. They said it would be another hour and a half or so. Not only that but they were very rude and unprofessional in the way they were telling us this. This could have been avoided if they had been straight with us from the beginning. So we paid them $50 for a trim around the inside of the ear, around the paws, I think they may have trimmed the nails but I am not sure, and a bath. It was a very bad experience for us.

I have gone to Arlington Animal Hospital for over 30yrs. I have always been charged what Im quoted. the vets here are very compassionate towards the pets and respectful of the owners and their financial position. I've taken rotts, mixed breeds, cats, kittens, and feral cats and been very happy with the care given to my pets and strays 'I also use the groomer at this vet. I would never take my pets to any other vet or groomer and I always recommend Arlington Animal Hospital.

I was very disappointed. I was told a price for a litter of 7 day old kittens to be seen over the phone and when I got there they decided it would be something else, a lot more. They did not even want to look at the mom unless they charged me more. Needless to say, the vet did not know much about kittens she admitted and I got no where except a bill for nothing. My kittens will probably die unless I go to another vet. What a waste of money. These people need to got back to school. Also, I was the bad guy because I made the receptionist tell them the quote she gave me for an office visit. I got dirty looks and scrunched up noses. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

horrible, horrible customer service!!!

if you want to make reservations and put a deposit in advance so your pet can stay there and then the day of your travel have them call you that they overbooked ....then this is the place for you. I recently experienced this and to top it off it's like they didn't care. I was traveling out of the country worried sick of what I was going to do with my dog. don't bring your pets here if they can forget overbooking then imagine what else they can they forget when you leave your beloved pets in there hands.

Sucks

I took my two 9 week old puppies there, for them to tell me there where in healthy an need special shampoo for a sick disorder they had. 3 weeks later one of them died from prove something the vet said they didn't have. I had paid over 400.00. now that I went to a new vet to try and save my other pup life from something this vet said my pups didn't have.

I've been taking my family pet...

I've been taking my family pets to Arlington animal hospital for over 20 years now. We have experienced routine care, (annual physical exams, fecal exams, vaccines... ) eye surgery for our dog, splenectomy for our ferret, dental care for two dogs, biopsies and sadly euthanasia. Dr Saldanha allow me to hold my beloved ferret during euthanasia when the emergency animal hospital doctor told me no because of a possible reaction. The staff at Arlington Animal Hospital is amazing and I trust them 100% to do for my pets, what they would do for theirs.

This past weekend I took my dog in for a booster shot and while they had her in the back room I got a chance to look around the waiting room. There on the board was a photo of my sweet little ferret (whom I mentioned above) and the Thank You card I sent the staff after she passed. This brought me a warm reminder of how caring they truly are.

If you want to read more heart felt reviews and Thank You notes, just visit their waiting room.

Although I dont like to say ne...

Although I dont like to say negative things, Im so disappinted. Im new to Riverside and looking for a Vet so I read all the good reviews for this Vet and took my pregnant kitty there. She had 2 babies on a Tuesday evening and her labor stopped. By Thursday morning she hadnt gone back in to labor so I took her to Arlington Vet. Although I could still feel 3 babies moving in my kitties tummy, the Vet very coldly stated that her babies were dead and mummifying in my cat, she would not go back in to labor, and an $800 surgery to remove the alleged dead kittens was the only way to save her from suffering.

I asked the Vet to give her Oxytocin to induce labor because I could feel her babies moving as we sat in the waiting room. The vet said "NO" that the babies were dead and would begin to poisen my cat if they were not removed. I asked them to give her Oxytocin to induce labor and she said "NO" that she would not go in to labor again due to a negative energy flow? In frustration I signed a medical release and took my cat home to decide what to do. $800 was alot of money and the Vet was wrong. She gave me no other option but a very expensive surgery or Euthenasia.

I went home and cried for hours befor deciding to do some research myself on this situation and how to help my kitty restart labor. After 5 hours of gently massaging her tummy, rubbing her nipples, and applying accupressure to her paws, to my amazement, SHE GAVE BIRTH TO 3 VERY ALIVE AND HEALTHY(not dead and mummifying)BABIES!!!

My cat was misdiagnosed and I was treated so poorly Im still so upset. The Vets Headline on their website is "We treat your pets like family"

If this is the case, they wouldnt have (insisted) the worst case scenario for my cats and her babies. They evidently didnt even do an exam or they would have felt the babies move as I had.

They were so callous and cold and rude to me because I told them they were wrong about the babies being dead. I feel they were just money hungry and uneducated.

For me (a novice) to pull my cat through this on my own was amazing. If I would have been anyone else who was too trusting, well... I just feel bad. I cant imagine I am the only one with problems at this Vet. Money is their bottom line, not your pets best interest. BEWARE.

BTW - yesssss, my kitty and her babies will be 1st in line to be fixed ASAP.

They trully care

My dogs were really nervous at first but after the receptionist came and gave them each a treat they were mellow. I can honestly say this hospital is the best i have ever taken my dogs to. The nurses who were taking their temperatures and weights were great with my dogs. They really care about animals. I strongly recomend Dr. To, she was very gentle and made my dogs feel so comfortable.

Opinion

My family and I have been clients of "Arlington Animal Hospital" almost from its start. We've known Dr.Hicks since he was on Magnolia St. here in Riverside. After watching your new video, I can't help but wonder if the whole thing was scripted and rehearsed. Dr. Saldano doesn't look at all relaxed while he is talking, he looks very "posed". Where are pictures of the other staff members, happy animals, or happy clients? I saw a couple of stills of some of the lab people, but i'm sure there are others there as well.

Anyway thats my opinion. Dr. Saldano, I wish you nothing but great success, and many years at "Arlington Animal Hospital".

Great Vets

Dr. Roy Saldanha is one of the best vets our family has dealt with, the entire staff was so kind and compassionate when we had to put our cat down. They made a very difficult time a lot easier for our family.
