My mother-in-law has been a customer of Dr. Twardus's for more than 10 years and takes all 4 of her dogs there. One of her dogs is 15 years old, has been very sick & slowly deteriorating for a few months now & they have been keeping him comfortable. Tuesday night the poor little guy turned for the worse & bleeding out. Wednesday morning, my mother-in-law called Pet Wellness crying, saying it "was time" & requested to bring him in to be euthanized. To her dismay, she was told they didn't have an appt for her until FRIDAY. So I guess they expected her to just let the poor little guy suffer or bleed to death for 3 days. Needless to say, my mother-in-law was irrate.

She called Basin Run Animal Hospital who told her to bring him right up. They were very warm, caring, friendly, & sympathetic. They even sent flowers to her house.

Basin Run will now be her Veterinarian.

Dr Lisa is by far the best vet that I have ever known. It's not just a job for her, she genuinely cares about your pets. Her staff is excellent & her manager Vanessa is as dedicated to her job as Dr Lisa. They both go out of their way to help you. Our cats love and trust them. She has taken care of all 9 of the cats i have owned or do own. She has helped us with all issues from birth to cremation. We're known on a first name basis and they take the time to establish a relationship with each owner and their pets. She helps find homes for homeless animals and I hav r had the pleasure of adopting a few of her cats that needed homes. She also has a friendly staff of cats who greet you at the door....everybody loves them. I wouldn't trust my cats to anyone else. I highly recommend her. She is reasonably priced as well. We love her and her staff!
