Karen did an awesome job teaching my daughter how to drive! She even taught me a few things I didn't know and I've been driving for 31 years! She's quirky and fun and is awesome at what she does! I highly recommend her!

Karen's teaching philosophy is unique. She explains upfront how she will replicate driving scenarios that your teen will experience. For instance, she has them drive with the radio on, experience a person talking to them, pulling into a pizza joint, stopping at a grocery store, etc. She makes it fun for kids and lessens their stress. Additionally, Karen gives excellent driving tips and advice. My son was particularly impressed with her knowledge and help at the DMV as a clerk had messed up the needed information for his permit. He said without her there, it would've still been messed up and he might not have realized it. It's obvious that she loves her job and loves kids. I'm impressed with how quick she taught my son to drive.

I had an awesome experience with Karen and with KBees Driving School. She made a huge difference in how my son drives and how he takes on the responsibility of driving. She taught him very well. My son had already completed the required 6 hours but he had failed the test. Karen came and quickly corrected his mistakes and showed him the right way. Thanks Karen!

I took my teenage daughter to Kbees to get her learners permit, and some more lessons while she has the learning permit. Excellent service, the instructor Karen is very attentive, always instructing on how to proceed and correcting any mistakes explaining why. I recommend this driving school if you want to be certain that your kid will learn. My daughter enjoyed chatting with Karen while she was driving :)



Kbees is very professional and know what they are doing. They'll teach you everything you need to know and will make sure you do the best you can.

Karen is awesome!!! She is currently teaching my son how to drive and he is doing very well!!! Karen was actually the one who taught me how to drive 20 years ago! She is very friendly and knowledgeable!! I would totally recommend her to anyone looking for driving instructions :))

Such a good driving school! Karen did the impossible and taught me to parallel parallel park so well, even the motor vehicles driving tester was impressed! A very professional yet comfortable environment, I know I couldn't have done it without her. She turned my perception of stuffy driving instructors around with her great personality and was very accommodating and made learning to drive a pleasure, instead of something mandatory. We drove through real life situations and I know that will help me in the future. I still use her tips today when I'm driving and probably will for a long time. I would highly recommend this driving school to any parent or child that wants to learn to drive the correct way. Wouldn't change a thing!

Thanks Karen for my behind the wheel training in the beginning of February! You were very informative and extremely nice. I had a great, stress free time learning how to drive and I defiantly learned some great tips to remember when on the road. I also thought having the opportunity to stop at businesses was very educational because it taught me how to park in a real life situation. I think you run a friendly and educational driving school that really cares about your students and you're flexible with their schedules. Keep up the great work! :)

A big thank you to Karen for getting Tyler's behind the wheel in by the end of January . she is so accommodating especially with rescheduling after the ice storm we just had . Tyler had a great experience and learned a lot .we highly recommend using KBee's Driving School .

We used KBees Driving School not too long ago for my daughter. I made this account to specifically write this review. I looked up many driving schools all around Mercer and Hunterdon counties to make sure I found a good and trustworthy driving school to take my child around for her 6 hours. I read mostly negative reviews online for KBees Driving School, but I decided to give them a chance due to Karens many years of experience. My daughters experience was absolutely awful with Karen. She is very rude and unprofessional, I even saw that when she spoke to me. According to my daughter, her car was extremely filthy and smelled like cigarettes. I even smelt the cigarette smell on her when she came into my house. I even smelt the cigarette smell on my daughters clothes when she'd come home from doing a lesson with Karen. My daughter would feel sick after coming home from doing her lesson because of the smell in Karen's car. My daughter said she played music the entire time they were driving, which I believe is unprofessional. Turn the music off, and focus on teaching this child, who has never been behind the wheel of a car, how to get comfortable using the gas, breaks, steering, etc. Don't blast music, don't play with your phone or iPad, and lastly, don't yell at my child. My daughter felt like she talked to her like she was stupid and annoying. She yelled at my child if my child made a mistake while driving, for example, driving too slow or driving too fast or not slowing down enough when making a turn. Say things nicely. I even felt like Karen talked down to me like I was an annoyance. I met you once, for all of 10 minutes, and you're talking down and yelling at my daughter? That's what really aggravates me. I get it 100% that a teenager driving for the first time is not gonna be good at those things, but have patience, if you don't, you're in the wrong field. The only reason I did not pull my child out of KBees Driving School after their first lesson is because we paid and I wanted my daughter to do the remaining hours and get it over with so she could get her permit and we didn't have to go through the drama of switching to another driving school. I will let everyone we know in the area who have teenage kids who are looking for a driving school to stay far away from this driving school and to not be fooled by her cheap prices and years of experience. She needs to work on her attitude and being more professional, if I can complain to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission about Karen I will. My daughter was upset to the point of crying when she got home from her first lesson with Karen and I'm absolutely disgusted and regret using KBees Driving School. Also, Karen took my child to run her personal errands and stop for food for herself. I read another review where someone said she does this. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Don't use up the time I'm paying you to teach my daughter to go run your personal errands or stop and get yourself food if you forgot to eat breakfast. My child is your student not your personal driver. I talked to other parents about this who have used other driving schools and they were shocked and thought I was joking. Those 2 hours should be used to teach the child not used to do your personal errands. Schedule your personal errands around your job like everyone else does. No child needs to be sitting in the car or in the waiting room waiting for you for half an hour using up the time their parents paid you for to teach them to drive. I also feel like my daughter was not taught everything she should've been taught in those 6 hours we paid Karen for. Most likely due to the fact that they would make stops for Karen and time was used up. I highly suggest you do not use KBees Driving School..

If you want your child to drive around doing the instructors personal errands, then this school is for you. Stay away from this school...

An amazing driving school. Great instruction. That is given in a friendly easy to work with manner. Karen is an excellent instructor and a very skilled driver. Passed my road test the first time! Thanks so much!
