They only card for alcohol at random or when the employee feels like being rude. My fiance and her friend attempted to purchase a bottle of captain for a bbq. The clerk said it is policy to card both people when purchasing regardless of age and that the policy has been in effect for two years, yet none of the proper signage is posted at the point of sale, not on the door. So, since the purchaser had her id and the other did not, they were denied. I suggest to get any alcholic beverages at another establishment as Wal-Mart doesn't have a clue what they are doing.
