Provided by YPmobileVisiting Richmond my party of 4 wanted to dine at this restaurant that had a spectacular menu on the website. Upon arriving we were seated. We were served our beverages and ordered our food. We sat at the table for nearly 45 minutes after ordering and still had not received the meals. When approaching the manager, he simply made excuses to try to smooth the situation. I waited another 5 minutes and still NO FOOD. I asked for my order to be cancelled. Horrible ending!

Provided by YPmobileNothing can compare to the price and foid portion you get. I get my monies worth everytime I go. Enough leftover for snack or dinner. Extremely Fast Service. Parking is bad but it's worth the extra mile walk and wait if need be:-).

Provided by YP.comMy husband and I were very pleased with this restaurant. Actually, we loved it. The seafood was fresh and prepared perfectly. The sides were homemade and portions were plentiful. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent so I must comment on the post about the restaurant being racist. We are white and went to the Old Towne location. We were treated the same as everyone else and no one stared. We were not the only whites in the restaurant and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The manager(owner?) even sat at our table and chatted with us. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody.

Provided by YP.comI hear the one in Richmond is much better. I even hesitate to say this, but it is the truth, so here goes. Petersburg is a "black" resturant. I'd heard food was wonderful. it was right good, BUT if you are white folks, be prepared for some really hard stares. (especially from the little heavy man that walks around in the black suit. The waitress and staff were all so kind and welcoming, right down friendly, I was told this man was an "owner" ? hard to imagine. Money is all green. His looks, flat out stares made it difficult for me to swallow the food. When we left, he even walked to the window near the door and glared at us until we were in our car and driving away. OMG... he was sooo rude,,,, Because of him I'll never go there again.. All I can say is...IF he was the manager...too bad they can't get rid of him.

Provided by YPmobileIn December I arrived @ this restaurant and the wait was pretty long but,at least we had a seats @ the bar to wait and have a few drinks before dinner.. The recommendation for this place was like 5 star
for service and food. I can truly say my first visit was great(food,& service) But my second visit was horrible. I felt embarrassed my family and I drove from norfolk,va to have an early sunday dinner.I raved about how great the food was soooo the family was ready to get that Great experience....WRONG....1)waitress was too slow 2)the corn bread taste old(like a few days) 3)the grits were cold and looked like lard 4.flies were all over as if we were outside eating on the patio(kept fanning)...I normally don't complain about things but this was horrible so ill pick another place to eat when I ride to richmond again.......
