We booked our daughter's birthday party with another business in town, and part of the package was a limo ride. Unfortunately, it was with these bozos. We had a bad experience with them previously, and if I had known that was who it was I would have said no. My wife called the day before to confirm the package, and had the misfortune of speaking with Kim, the owner. His biggest concern when talking to my wife was apparently the tip the driver would receive, since that was not included in the price of the package. My wife was not aware of this, and told him so, which he apparently took to mean that we were not going to pay it. After some discussion, my wife was under the impression that it was worked out, and we would pay the tip. The next day, none other than Kim himself showed up at my door. Unwisely, I loaded my daughter, her six friends, my wife, and her two friends into the limo, and then came along separately to the party, which was a HUGE mistake. When I arrived, my wife was almost in tears because of how Kim treated her. His story was that none of his drivers were willing to take the job, because he told them they might not get tipped. My wife offered him the tip when they arrived at the party location, but he continued to berate and belittle her. Kim is apparently the owner of the building the other business is in, and so tried to get my daughter's birthday party CANCELLED AFTER THEY ARRIVED at the party location, in front of my daughter and her friends. He also spoke to several of the 7-9 year olds AT THE PARTY about my wife, saying things like "tell mommy to stop being mean to me" and "looks like mommy had some pills before she came to the party." After the party was over, the gang loaded up for the ride back home. They all unloaded back at our house, and the coward took off quickly without so much as a word to me. When I called him later on to express my displeasure with his poor service, he hung up on me! When he finally did stay on the phone, he had the audacity to accuse my wife of using drugs or being drunk, and that she was rude to him! I then asked him why he didn't say anything to me about what he thought he saw, and he replied that he "didn't know who I was." Gee, the guy that is waiting in front of the house with the kids then shows up later to take pictures, and hugs and hangs around with the birthday girl's mom, then is back at the house afterward; I wonder who that could be? When I asked him why he felt it was appropriate to talk to my daughter about my wife, he told me my daughter was lying! Unbelievable. When I told him I would never use his business again, he replied "Fine, I don't want your business!" From reading the other reviews on this site, he apparently doesn't want anyone's business. Do yourself a favor: spend a little extra to get Racing limos or someone else in the Tricities that actually cares about their customers. Kim and Desert Wave certainly don't. This guy is quite a piece of work, and deserves to go out of business. Don't use them, no matter how much of a good deal it sounds like! You will regret it!

Went in tanning salon because of coupon I had. They only have the 20 minute beds, and that's fine, BUT the beds seems to be from 1980! Really old. Not very hot at all. It felt like nothing was happening in the bed. I left early, it was that bad. Other shops are far worth the little bit more you pay. Their limo service may be good, but take some of the proceeds and update your tanning beds please!
