DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC OR ANY OTHER PENNY PAWS CLINICS FOR ANYTHING ELSE BUT VACCINES!!!
$318 for "teeth cleaning" $856 EMERGANCY VET BILL TO SAVE MY DOGS LIFE!!

I went in for a "normal" dental cleaning. Last year around the same time my dog got a cleaning as well
12 teeth were pulled (due to my negligence) and everything was FINE, HINCE why I went back. Cut to this year....
I went to go pick my dog up and she was bleeding profusely from her mouth. In my opinion the vet should have NEVER sent home my dog with me in this condition. They told me she would eventually clot and sent me on my way.
An hour later the bleeding had gotten worse and worse to the point that I started to worry about it.
I called the clinic back to see what they wanted me to do. OH! and did I mention that I thought they were giving
me a "goodie bag" to take home with me only to find out it was SOMEONE ELSE'S BELONGINGS AS WELL AS A PERSCRIPTION FOR THEIR
DIABETIC DOG!!!!!

The clinic was more concerned about getting the meds and belongings back then they were for my dog!!!
I live on the West side of Fort Worth and I hurried back over to the clinic as fast
as possible. It was a little after 5pm when we arrived and the all they could do for me was give
her a vitamin K shot, which the Dr. Cynthia Garrett even admitted that 'other doctors don't always agree that it is a valid solution to help clot blood' She then told me I had a few options, Leave my dog at the
clinic with NO SUPERVISION OVERNIGHT IN A CAGE BY HERSELF and they would 'get to her first thing in the morning',
I could take her home with me and monitor her, or HER RECOMMENDATION was to go to an EMERGANCY VET. The girls in the office were
telling me there is nothing more that they could do for her and PUSHED us out the door. Dr. Garrett only wants a paycheck and DOES NOT CARE about the animals that she works on. They are obviously just paychecks to her.

My question is......WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO IN THE MORNING IF YOU "CAN'T DO ANYTHING NOW FOR HER RIGHT NOW"?! Hope that she is
dead so you don't have to deal with it?

Rushing her to the hospital where they IMMIDATELY took her back and started to diagnose the problem. They scoffed
at the way my animal was treated and solidified the fact that "Vitamin K" was the easy way out of this and
it has no relevance with what was going on.

After running a few tests I was told that EVERYTHING looked normal from her blood work.
THANK GOODNESS I took her to the emergency room because they said she would not have made it overnight.

$856 Later and at 6:30AM I went to pick up my Fur Baby. She is doing Wonderful now, NO THANKS to Penny Paws.
I have YET to hear from anyone at the clinic since this happened last Monday, March 2nd.

I had to call Lori Renfro their Office Manager 4 times before I was able to get ahold of her. The very
first thing I asked Lori was if the office indeed had something to stop bleeding her answer, "Um, I'm going to go ahead and say, yes."
If you do not have the ability to stop the bleeding but you say you do, Why am I responsible for her Emergency vet bill to ensure my
dog would live another day.

She Also NEGLECTED to call me back on Monday, March 9th by close as she promised and I didn't receive a call until March 12th.
What a great birthday present to hear that she can AGAIN "do nothing for me" and will not be doing ANYTHING for me.

This place if full of people who DO NOT truly care about Animals. All they care about is making money and
going home at the end of the day. What a group of heartless individuals and all around neglect.

PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU AND YOUR BABIES!!!!!
I am COMPLELETLY Traumatized by this! You have no idea what it is like to look at your little baby and see
blood POURING OUT of that little mouth, not to mention have blood EVERYWHERE with no one willing to help.
