Double-resistant hydraulic machines maximize results by isolating and targeting opposing muscle groups simultaneously. A Curves coach is always present to compel members to achieve muscle failure and maintain an elevated heart rate, to correct form when necessary, and celebrate the results earned from their hard work. Proper form and technique help to ensure members get the most out of their workout and help prevent injury. Our members range from13- 90 years of age. ACCOUNTABLE - Coaching with empathy not sympathy. Every member receives a fitness assessment upon joining Curves. Working together, a plan of action is developed. This process helps the coach to get to know the member and develop an open line of communication that promotes trust and confidence; a relationship vital to effective coaching and overall member success. Members are held accountable in monthly coaching sessions where progress is measured and recorded, success celebrated, and adjustments made where needed. If a member is gone for more than one week a Curves coach will make every effort to follow up and find out what is happening so members don’t get off track. They are encouraged and reminded why they started and how far they’ve come. The Curves Coach is Every Members’ Biggest Fan! FAST & FUN: The Curves circuit is a 30 minute workout. Thirty-second intervals of cardio and strength training designed to challenge every fitness level. Set to high energy music in a variety of genres, Curves’ workouts are exceptionally convenient and easy to fit into a busy schedule. Friendly (voluntary) competitions challenge and motivate members to work hard.Incentives are given to reward milestones achieved for attendance and weight loss. Members are kept engaged by consistent feedback, encouragement and rewards. EFFECTIVE: We understand that not all people are the same and therefore have different needs, however, there are factors that ring true for most people: 1. muscle burns fat and increases metabolism necessary for healthy weight loss; 2. it takes time and effort to develop muscle and achieve healthy weight loss;and 3. strength training and cardio are essential for both. Curves workouts with Jillian Michaels give members a new challenge every month. Our new Specialty Classes zero in on each muscle group to build muscle and endurance, increase balance and flexibility and ensure an excellent workout. “Curves Complete” provides a supportive (3-month or 6-month) weight management program with a high protein diet that is balanced with healthy carbs and fats to feed muscle and promote lean muscle mass. Curves Complete is geared to deliver results! Members participating in Curves Complete lose an average of 1-2 pounds a week while learning how to maintain permanent weight loss for life. I really enjoy going to Curves. The workouts are amazing! I love the fact that I can get a total body workout in 30 minutes. I feel so much better after I have completed my workout. It is a great way to get in tune with your body and mind! The one on one coaching helps you keep working toward your goals. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Thanks Sheila! Keep on rockin'! Like so many of Curves members, Sheila has a very busy life and it has been peppered with events that give many women cause to give up fitness in order to deal with. Sheila decided that giving up fitness was not an option. Her workouts have increased and she is killin' it with Jillian! Her decision has given her strength (both physically and emotionally) through difficult times. Good job, Sheila!

Curves is an amazing place to go to learn how to live a healthy and active lifestyle. The coach is amazing and keeps everyone motivated. I have lost close to 20 pounds in just a few months on the curves complete program. It's amazing!!

Thank you, Loren...Stay Motivated! Loren is right on track to meeting her goals. In 5 months she has lost 20.5, 19.25 inches, 7% body fat. Her BMI has also came down -3.84 with only -.30 to be under 25%. Under 25% is the recommended range for body mass, decreasing the odds of any predisposed diseases that one may be prone to - genetic or otherwise. This is what Curves members can expect with Curves Complete! Fitness, meal plans, and coaching! It's all about you at Curves!

Thanks Annette! Annette has also been coming to Curves for 5 months. Her goals were to tone up and lose some pounds but she has rheumatoid arthritis which has made normal tasks painful and others impossible to perform. She has lost 9 pounds, 14.25 inches and 1.6% body fat without altering her current eating habits. More important she feels better, is stronger and more flexible, allowing her to perform everyday functions with ease and and much less pain - and she is able to do other things that she had quit trying to do because it just wasn't worth what she had to go through later. Are you hurting? Take it from Annette...get moving and keep moving at Curves - "you won't regret it".
