I live 2 blocks from the 360 Health Club and set up a 9 AM appointment to find out about joining. This club is very close to my home and would have been convenient for morning workouts. When I walked in, there were 3 young men behind the counter; I stood in front of the counter for a couple of minutes before I was acknowledged. Finally, one young man acknowledged me and I told him I was here for a 9 AM appointment with Laura. He pointed to the first desk where Laura was sitting. I thought she would have looked up and acknowledged me; but she was talking with a club member and continued her conversation. I waited; then asked if someone else could help me. She was the only membership sales person there. So, I waited until the young man informed her that I was there to see her. She ended her conversation and then apologized and told me she forgot we had an appointment. She continued to tell me about the facility and membership fees (which amounted to about $350, just to join). I thought that was ridiculous since I paid $800 for a lifetime membership at another club, which has facilities in several states. She said, "no, this is good price since we are the cleanest and have fancy amenities", she then put her book away and ended our meeting. After I told her to have a good day, I thought to myself, "I would have been angry if I paid over $300 to join, and a monthly fee, to be treated rude! So much for convenience! Yvonne R.
