Sadly, this clearly exaggerated version of masculinity has a certain truth to it — at least as far as societal expectations go.



We expect guys to be strong and brave, willing to take on challenges and do "manly" things. And when they don't comply with these socially-imposed norms, we question their manhood by calling them "cowards" and "sissies."



Now that we have that out of the way. I can tell you that when I dropped off my BLACK car (2014 Audi A8L) with "Nic at Polished Detail" my manly-ness level felt that it dropped a few points due to me being a hands on guy and normally detail and wax my own cars. I practically had an anxiety attack for the five days that my car was there. The afternoon came to pick up my car after a sleepless night.



I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES. The car looked amazing inside and out. Nic did a huge amount of color correcting along with removing a large amount of orange peel in the paint. After the car was prepped he then applied Ceramic Pro 9H Permanent Nano-Ceramic Protective Paint Coating Gold Package that also includes the WHEELS!!! All while Mel detailed the interior. The car looks so amazing inside and out. The paint that looks like it has been dipped in glass! The inside look like an artist painted her final master piece!



I never told Nic this but when I got home I was so happy that I cried outside on my porch looking at my car for about ten minutes. Completely worth it. I can't wait to cry again with my others cars. That doesn't make me a "coward" or a "sissy" does it?
