Artistic Habitat is a family-owned furniture store serving the South Bay of Los Angeles. The showroom is conveniently located on PCH in Redondo Beach. Artistic Habitat is known for manufacturing products of the highest quality with materials that have been responsibly obtained. All of their wood flooring, furniture and decor comes from an honest source. Their motto: 'Recovered, Reclaimed, Repurposed' brings to light Artistic Habitat's passion of reforestation and the commitment to offer responsibly obtained woods to their clients. Indeed, all of their woods are recovered, reclaimed, repurposed or originate from reforested plantations and responsibly managed forests across Latin America. The recovered woods come from fallen trees found in forests, jungles and sometimes even cities or other urban settings. The reclaimed and repurposed woods are salvaged from old factories, haciendas and buildings. Their plantation woods, which usually come in the form of flooring are also responsibly obtained. In addition to all of their efforts to maintain a honest and environmental approach as they source material, they are also part of an environmental effort to plant trees in areas that need reforestation in southern Mexico and Costa Rica. The furniture offered at Artistic Habitat sets itself apart because of the craftsmanship that is behind it. Every piece is hand crafted, hand distressed, and finished by master artisans who have been perfecting their craft for nearly half a century. The process is also a much more traditional one, from the moment a tree is found and recovered, until the piece of furniture that was crafted from it is installed or staged in a clients home, it is worked on by the same group of people. In addition to all of the unique pieces that they offer in their showroom, you can place an order for a completely customized piece. Whether you want a different type of wood, a different finish or unique dimensions, they can do it all. If that you are looking for is live edge furniture, they can show you photos of all the slabs they have in the factory and you can pick your unique piece before its even finished. They have all types of furniture. From dining tables, dining chairs and couches to coffee tables, end tables, bed frames, chandeliers, lamps and other lighting. If you are planning a remodel, Artistic Habitat offers cabinetry and hardwood floors made by the same artisans that make the furniture. They also offer a design service for beautiful custom kitchens that are manufactured in Italy.
