I bought a used Mazda truck from Redlands Toyota. Unfortunately for me I did not check the Blue Book first and I was only later to find out that the $4000 discount I thought I was getting only brought the price down to high Blue. They had marked it up $4000 then put it on sale with room to bargin. I noticed that it had an advertisement where the front plate was supposed to be. I mentioned it to the finance guy and he said the plate was under the advertisement. I looked and there was no plate. He said he would order one for me. After several months no plate came in, so I returned to Toyota of Redlands and they told me it was ordered again. Still no plate. I returned several times after that and was only lied to about the plate. I do not believe they ever ordered one. They let a year pass and then told me it was too late to order a plate and that I would have to go down to the DMV and get one myself. They sent me a check for $15 to cover the cost. I told them that they should get one of their guys to go down and wait in line at the DMV (approximately 2-3 hours here in Redlands). They refused and I finally sold the car for what I owed on it after paying 500 down and making payments for two years. Toyota of Redlands ripped me off royally and then they just laughed it off and did not fulfill their promises. Make sure you check the Blue Book before buying and get everything in writing. Not the kind of company I will ever return to!
