I love practicing at Aqua Golf.

Floating balls are like any other range ball, flying about 70% normal distance but unlike turf ranges, you get a very good feel of carry distance thanks to the lake formed from the proximity of the Sacramento river.

The place always seems to be clean and presents well to the public but be advised that sometimes the floating targets are pulled out due to environmental compliance during different times of the year, like salmon spawning season or during surges from upstream dam releases.
Some releases may actually require the range to temporarily close for compliance. Such is the case when the business is planted on an EPA protected venue.

I have never had a bad experience practicing at this range and recommend it highly.

Sign says open daily 10am-5pm. It's 10:45 am on a sunny Friday and there is no one here and it's closed! No markers in the water, looks like trash floating everywhere.Never wasting my time coming here again.

A great place to work on your long drive golf swing and to see how far you can drive that golf ball. It's about 10 dollars for a good amount of golf balls to hit into the water. I just wonder how do they get all of those golf balls back? haha. Great friendly service.
