My experience with Mr James Eftink was exceptionally bad. He consistently ignored emails and phone calls. He unethically billed me for services I did not receive. Gave my minor child inappropriate, inaccurate legal advice regarding a court ordered parenting plan. Gave false testimony at a child support hearing as well as trial. Mr Eftink should not be representing children as a GAL. He did not report physical abuse to child protective services and supported my children's father in violating a court ordered parenting plan. Ultimately he recommended that a father who has abandoned his children twice to move out of state to be with his girlfriend have sole legal custody of one of my children. He proposed splitting up siblings and implied under oath that the boys therapists had advised this which was a blatant lie. Parents beware! If you find yourself in need of GAL services, do everything possible to prevent this man from representing your children.
