I got at least 8 estimates. Caan Fence was the cheapest by far. Sometimes hesitant to go with the cheapest price, but went with them . Very easy to deal with. Paid 50 % by credit card and signed contract. Came when they said they would. Very pleased with the job. Planning on another job on another property we own.

Unfortunately with business there’s a process that must be followed. We’re unable to provide any services until we have a signed contract and the required deposit. We provided all the necessary information to the potential customer; certificate of insurance 3 references. I’ve spoken with the potential customer on several occasions and explained we must have a signed contract to proceed. We’re sorry you didn’t have an excellent experience with our company. Let me start by saying this is my first review anywhere ever. I am a facilities manager in Boston and have worked with many vendors and Caan Fence has by far the worst in house communication which results in horrible customer service. I contacted Carlene at Caan back in early June, they promptly sent out a very friendly gentleman to give me a price which I was happy with. The day before my install was schedule I was told that they would need a deposit of half the total, which I said was fine and they agreed to pick it up at my house. Nobody showed up and the next day they called to say the order was delayed, which was unacceptable because I had two more contractors scheduled for the next week. In the interest of being civil I agreed to push my date back to Saturday and Carlene said not to work about the deposit due to the inconvenience. We agreed I would pay the full amount upon completion. Come Saturday Carlene was unreachable and someone else kept calling saying my deposit was due and they would not come out unless it was paid. When I finally spoke to Carlene one last time she said she would straighten it out, that did not happen. The same woman called again and said their next available date was August 1st. At this point we are 2 months in and still no fence. I have had to cancel several events at my home. The last correspondence I had with them was an email saying Carlene would reach out and now two weeks later I have heard nothing. Do yourself a favor if you would like a hassle free install CALL SOMEONE ELSE.
