Groupon buyers beware! I purchased a Groupon for a Brazilian Blowout from this salon. When I arrived to redeem the purchase, I was told that I would be charged $100 extra (more than the original cost of the Groupon) for a "long hair fee." When I expressed shock at this exorbitant hidden fee, I was informed that it was due to the high cost of the product and reminded what a good "deal" I was getting. I have received two Brazilian Blowouts before and the "long hair fee" is absolutely not standard practice. I have been pursuing a refund from Groupon since the services I paid for were not delivered for the price I purchased them for. I would urge this business to only offer Groupons in the future if they can do so fully or (at the very least) list the exact price of the extra fee clearly on the Groupon website so buyers are accurately informed.

I travel from salon to salon in Raleigh to judge customer service, style etc. this salon is by far the best in Raleigh. The style, customer service, and team of stylist work together. If you are looking for updated, stylish, and customer oriented salon. Primp Salonbar is where you need to go.

I had the worst salon experience ever at primp on my wedding day! I purchased the bridal package with a trial hair and makeup and then the actual wedding day hair and makeup. They lost my appointment when I came in for my trial, but alecks still did a fantastic job. However, when I came in for the wedding day it was utter chaos and the worst service ever. My sister and MOH sat in a pedi bath for 30 mins before worked on, makeup was done terribly and the girl walked out on the appt. halfway thru for no reason and never came back... The pedicurist was terrible at designs. My sister's hair ended up like a rats nest and had to be re-done. They didn't even put lipstick or mascara on me. Pretty sad when you have to do your own makeup on your wedding day. Cashier took more tip than I told her to and never asked how was our service. So rude! Worst part is I tried contacting the manager twice about my experience and she never responded. I have never been treated so poorly at a salon. If you can't handle complaints, DON'T run a business founded on customer service!! I will be telling everyone I know about this salon.. definitely never going back!
