The Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority has been operating sewage facilities for more than 75 years. It owns and operates a trunk sewer system and wastewater treatment facility in Rahway, New Jersey. It serves more than 300,000 residents and over 3,500 industrial and commercial customers. The authority is governed by a board of commissioners, which includes one representative from each member municipality. The Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority maintains a staff of nearly 50 employees.
