Provided by SuperpagesFive Points goes above and beyond to put pet owners at ease about leaving their pets at the facility. They were so gracious even to send us pictures of our dog playing. I definitely recommend Five Points.

Provided by SuperpagesWe recently moved and five points is probably a good hour away, but the service we receive there is definitely worth it. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Provided by YPmobileWe took our Great Dane there for 9 years. She recently passed, but if we ever get another fur baby, we will definitely return to Five Points. The owner genuinely loves animals and it shows with the quality care.

Provided by YP.comWe have 2 dogs and have boarded with Five Points for 4 years. I can't say enough good things about them! One dog is older and blind. I know they take care of him like I would if I were there. When we drop the dogs off, they go to the kennel area with their tails wagging. In fact, they perk up in the van when we turn on Montrose. The staff at Five Points understand special needs pets, special diets and special care instructions. I"m very glad to have found Five Points when we moved to the Ft Bragg area.

Provided by YPmobileThis resort is great! Their facilities and rooms are clean and pet friendly! If your nervous about leaving your pet behind while you go on vacation, they will send you texts and picture updates with how your pet is doing! They are very caring and sincere when it comes to watching your pet. I've used this resort for week long stays and grooming services, which are excellent also! The options for playtimes and walks are also convenient. And there prices are reasonable also! I would recommend this resort to all my friends and family and anyone who loves their pets as family members!

Provided by YP.comThis place is amazing. Our dogs love going there. The staff knows our dogs by name when we walk in and the dogs are always so happy to see them. They are always happy when we pick them up as if they didn't even notice we were gone. The staff takes personal one on one time with them and we never worry about them while we are gone. We have used them more times than we can count over the past three years. We never worried about having to travel knowing we had a good place to take them where they are loved. We are military and are moving so it is very sad to leave and not have that fuzzy feeling about being able to travel anymore. If your pets are like a family member and you hate to leave them, this is the place to take them so you can enjoy your trip.

Provided by YP.comI applaud my staff for taking the unfavorable review to heart. I know how hard you guys work and I see your genuine concern for our four pawed guests everyday. Even though you have successfully cared for hundreds of happy, healthy guests, I know one uneducated client can really upset you. You all have a hard job and it takes a really committed person to do what you do everyday. I know you tackle a job that has long hours on hot sweaty summer days and requires constant cleaning, repeatedly, on a daily basis. It is never a glamourous but sometimes disgusting job but always a rewarding job. Until you have done this type of work, you really do not understand the dedication, the attention to detail, the experience and the willingness it takes to do what you do everyday.
Sometimes people put the blame on the easiest target. Keeping dogs in a bubble-like home environment and never exposing them to the outside hinders their dogs ability to have a robust immune system. They dont understand that their veterinarian did not educated them on a vaccine that was given too soon to checking in that it was not viable protection yet and that healthy, vaccinated dogs can be a carrier of a constantly mutating virus. That canine cough is usually epidemic and hits a large area, not just one facility. Because, just like the common cold or a runny nose kids get at daycare, it has to run its course and usually the body develops its own immunity and symptoms will usually pass in a week or so.

Provided by YP.comThere are more strands of bordetella than can be counted and it is almost pointless to vaccinate your animal against it. It is the same as a flu shot...you can still get the flu. And many dogs come in with sores that their owners neglected to see...a dog does not develop severe soars on its head and neck over a week when we keep our establishment as clean as we do. We should be thanked...not chastised.

Provided by YP.comLeft my dogs for a week stay. Upon pick up one dog had severe sores on head and neck, both dogs had kennel cough. Dogs were in excellent health when dropped off and up to date on all vaccines to include bordetella. Will never use this kennel again.

Provided by YP.comAny time we have left our beloved Jack ( a corgi of 13 years, with the use of only three legs) at a kennel he has come back very shy and without a bark. Totally unable to bark.
We left Jack at 5 points while on a trip to England and after a three week stay at 5 points he came out with tail wagging and barked at people when we stopped at the store on the way home. I worry so about him being left at a kennel with his bad hip and his age but he seems to really enjoy 5 points. I think all the staff there really love animals. Thank you Five Points for taking such good care of our dog and friend.

Provided by YP.comIf you want your pets to cry with joy when they arrive, and cry with sadness when they leave....then 5 points is definitely right for your dogs and cats. WOW what a facility!!! The lobby alone is worth the trip. Your pets will be spoiled and pampered as if they were kings and/or queens. Playtimes, Nature Walks, Golf Cart rides, Treats, Spa Baths, and best of all lots of love from an unusually large, well trained staff of people who obviously love animals. All types of accmodations are offered and they all are wonderfully equipped with soft, clean beds and indoor outdoor runs. Many have their own color TV sets. What a life! If you have more than one pet and they like to stay together, 5 points can take care of that too in their Presidential Suites, equipped like a living room and designed for one or more pets. There is so much offered by this establishment that "Resort" is the perfect name for it. As a matter of fact I suspect I am not the only pet owner who has considered leaving my pet at home and signing in for a week of R and R myself.
