Tohickon Family Campground

We have camped at Tohickon for over 30 years and it just keeps getting better. Our children loved the fishing, gameroom, pool and playareas. We now camp there with our grandchildren and they love it just as much as their parents did. Everything from the crafts and hayrides to the BINGO is VERY family friendly! The kids can ride their bikes up to the gameroom or store and we have never had a problem with any cars driving too fast or not looking out for the young ones. Even our dogs look forward to their trips to Tohickon. (although the water fowl may not totally appreciate their curious exploring along the creek banks!) The restaurant serves a varied menu at reasonable prices if Mom needs a break from cooking; and the food tastes good too! We feel that Tohickon (aka the covered bridge camp so called by our grandbabies) is one of the best campgrounds in the state for family camping. Our evening campfires are peaceful and we enjoy the way other campers always take the time to say hi as they pass by our site. We are not seasonal campers (we like to explore during the camping season) but we always find at least two or three trips to Tohickon on our schedule each year.
